Choose With Confidence
Make Choices That Fit You
Consider the subjects you enjoy, your strengths, your Morrisby report, the level of challenge and any prerequisites for your next step. Balance your workload and talk with teachers, family and the Careers and Pathways team.
If you know your goal
- Find out which qualification you need.
- Check whether further study is required.
- Check specific subject prerequisites with the course provider.
- Choose those subjects first, then build a balanced program around your interests.
If you are still exploring
- Identify subjects you are currently good at.
- Think about what you enjoy at school and outside it.
- Explore VCE and VET options connected with those interests.
- Use Careers advice to keep suitable options open.
Choose for your own interests, abilities and goals. Friends’ choices, a subject’s reputation, scaling or pressure to decide quickly are poor reasons on their own.
