Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)

Home » Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)

At Mickleham Secondary College, every student participates in a 1:1 Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) program in partnership with Learning With Technologies (LWT). Having a personal device ensures students can fully engage in a modern, technology-rich learning environment from Day 1.

4 Approved Devices

Four approved Lenovo laptop models are available through LWT, ranging from $967 to $1,760 inc. GST. All are commercial-grade devices selected for compatibility with our ICT infrastructure and curriculum.

Flexible Payment

Secure your device with a $250 lay-by and pay closer to delivery. 12-month payment plans are also available through LWT. Check the portal for current terms and conditions.

3-Year Warranty

Every device includes a 3-year education warranty covering all accidental damages — impact and liquid-spill included — with $0 excess. Fast onsite servicing and a dedicated support hotline are included.

Important to Know

The school does not support iPads, Macs, Chromebooks or non-LWT BYOD laptops. To ensure full compatibility with our learning tools and network, all students must use an LWT-approved device. Devices typically last 3–4 years; a new device may be needed for senior years.

2026 Approved Devices

All four devices come with a 3-year Education Warranty as standard, covering all accidental damages with $0 excess. Prices are from LWT and may vary — visit the order portal for current pricing.
